The Bad & The Ugly:
The C's look absolutely pathetic against the Pacers, losing 4 straight games by an average of 16+ points, an NBA record. Celtic Nation is in an uproar, and the naysayers are out in full force. Mark Blount will opt out this summer and become a free agent, which makes this offseason even harder for Danny Ainge.
I'm in yet another computer class today, more updates when I have the time.
As a Pacers fan, I might be expected to mock and trash-talk now, but I only offer my condolences. I have never seen a team play with such little effort in the playoffs. Other than Pierce and Blount, it seemed like everyone decided to half-ass it the moment the Pacers put up a modicum of resistance. As Charles Barkley put it, Larry Bird was rolling over in his grave -- and so were Jerry Sichting and Scott Wedman. (Although Sichting also being an ex-Pacer, maybe not.)
I get the feeling that if he could have gotten away with it, Red would have lit a "victory cigar" and set Ricky Davis on fire.
