Still Ill

Morrissey had to cancel his appearance on The Late Late Show With Craiggers yesterday because of illness. Moz had complained of being sick on many of the nights of his Apollo residency. He was scheduled to tape an interview and two performances on Monday and then another three songs on Wednesday. Craigger's producers are hopeful he can still appear on Wednesday.

A press release from Sanctuary Records read:

“He has been involved in an exhaustive global promotion campaign for (his new album) ‘You Are The Quarry’ the past several months. Unfortunately the strain of his schedule and a recent bout with meningitis resulted in his doctor insisting that he cancel all current appearances. He remains very appreciative of Craig’s continued support as well as the support of his fans.”
