Clincher!
Second Season here we come! And while we are on the subject, say hello to my little friend. I am currently working on my Outlook Calendar as to allow for maximum numbers of long lunches as soon as the playoffs start.
Peter Gammons on the last week of the season.
I can't believe this hasn't been on a NO BUZZ LIST yet, but I hereby nominate ESPN's Dream Job as the durstest show on TV (not that I've watched a single second of it). The idea of this show just nauseates me. Just because you are a sports fanatic and know a bunch of stats doesn't mean you have a presence on camera. ESPN is only hurting itself by running shows like this and hiring people that otherwise would never get a job in TV. And in the process they are demeaning their real "studio talent", a phrase I use loosely as that has gone downhill as of late. That network disgusts me more and more with each new reality show they trot out. It's like they are trying to be MTV or something. Soon there won't even be room left for sports on ESPN. Back on track, the new season of Dreamjob must be doing pretty well, since tonight's episode is airing live at MIDNIGHT. And lastly, does anyone else get the high comedy that is Stephen A-hole Smith in their last promo looking squarely into the camera and declaring "Style without substance don't mean a damn thing!" Truer words were never spoken my friends. But I digress...
The new u2 track is a pretty good song...for me to poop on. Garage rock is so three years ago.
Phil Spector, indicted on murder charge. After this trial is done, he's got a meeting with the fashion police. I don't care if you created the wall of sound or not, that 'do has got to go!
Take that you motherscratcher! Viewers of Jon Stewart's show are more likely to have completed four years of college than people who watch "The O'Reilly Factor," according to Nielsen Media Research. Comedy Central also touted a recent study by the University of Pennsylvania's National Annenberg Election Survey, which said young viewers of "The Daily Show" were more likely to answer questions about politics correctly than those who don't.
See! I wasn't lying, there really was a Wonkette bday party.
Hey Colin...Tough crowd, huh?
CNN on Elliot Smith.
