Moz On The Brain

I totally have Moz on the brain today. Very much looking forward to tonight’s show, particularly since it is the first of the tour and I have absolutely no idea what the set list might be. Should be interesting. This will also be my first Moz show in quite sometime time without Molly, but I don’t think that will be on my mind too much. I plan to go out and enjoy myself tonight. Tonight will be my ninth Moz show since the 1997 Maladjusted tour. Saturday in Philly will be number 10. Check back tomorrow for the full review.

I’m also kinda sad because I am about 20 pages from finishing Glamorama. Fucking hell this is a great book. It has definitely moved into my top three books of all time, joining Survivor and Microserfs in the holy trinity. I originally read Glamorama back when it was released and thought it was OK, but it’s really resonated with me upon rereading it. Cannot fucking wait for the movie.

Here’s what I don’t understand about DC. The Killers and Death Cab are sold out, but there are still tickets for Moz, The Pixies and PJ Harvey. Get your shit together people!

I disagree. Could the new Destiny’s Child joint be any hotter? Great song to listen to while I’m waiting for the bus in the morning. It’s gonna get played to death on radio though.

Ringo Starr to play drums on the next Oasis album? Also, the band are planning a full world tour once the record is released. Last year was the first year since 1995 that I didn’t see Oasis play at least once.

Um…what the fuck is up with Derek Lowe? What does this mean for the post-season pitching rotation?
