The windchill was negative 11 when I walked out to the bus stop this morning. Yes, negative 11.

Congrats on the Vince trade New Jersey. This is the type of player you are getting. That is some fucked up shit.

So...the weekend...Friday night I went to Catherine and Tom's Xmas party, which was packed to the gills with cute girls. Yet, for some reason, I stayed in the corner and talked to Mike and Kanishka all night. *shrug*

Saturday was Luna at the 930 Club. Their farewell gig. I was pretty pumped up (the Celtics beat the Cavs in OT earlier in the night) but as Catherine is wont to say, concert nirvana was not reached. The band sounded good, and the club was packed to the gills, but something about the whole night was just a bit off. Chromewaves review of the Toronto show led me to believe that the band would play alot of old stuff, and they did play almost half of Penthouse - which was awesome - but they played alot of new stuff - which sounded good - but I don't recall hearing anything from Pup Tent. I was just all geeked up to hear Tracy I love You or Bobby Peru but it was not to be. This is why I stopped going to see Luna after The Days Of Our Nights, because no matter what they played, I would never be happy about the set. And nothing will ever top that show they played in front of the World Trade Center (scroll down). Still, I fucking rocked out to Sideshow By The Seashore and 23 Minutes In Brussells so the night wasn't a total waste.

Sunday I went and watched some football, helped a friend celebrate their birthday and then came home and started working on the big "Best of 2004" post, which should be revealed on Wednesday.
