I could give a rats ass about Notre Dame but this is muy fucked up. I guess going 21-15 over three years won't cut it anymore. But writer Pat Forde does him one better: Athletic directors, presidents and alums everywhere want the big lie: they want Harvard during the week and Oklahoma on the weekends.

You're lucky I love you Kyle. Here in Michigan we have U of M "fans" (i.e. community college rejects who like the school colors more) who love to rub the Sparty's faces in our losses. If that were the case after last night's game - UM beating MSU, rather than Duke- I wouldn't have been so kind. But then again, I'm an asshole. And your President. Robvs.
Either way, it was a good game. The Sparty's are obvs a lot better this year than last, and should make a good run in the Big Ten. Bovs.

Hey, that's not fair. Not all Michigan fans are community college rejects. Most of them went to Eastern, Central, OU or even Madonna.
My favorite is when people tell me they root for Michigan because all their friends have always rooted for State. So then you don't really like your friends? I'm confused.
Sorry to turn this into a UM fan rant.
I didn't mean most UM fans... just the particular ones who always seem to use the proverbial "we" as if they scored the touchdown, field goal, etc., let alone actually attended the school. Go to Ann Arbor on any given football weekend wearing an MSU tee-shirt and you'll understand exactly where I'm coming from.
That being said, I'm gorgeous. Kyle, have fun at Ted Leo tonight! I expect a full report.

happiness: being in Happy Valley to see Penn State kick the crap out of Michigan State, after they beat Wisconsin.
happiness is also watching my boy JJ hit 5 3-pointers to beat Michigan State last night.
basically it's just nice to see teams I like beat up on MSU (well, really I like to watch my favorite teams beat up on anyone), although I save the real hate for Notre Dame. I don't have any particular feelings one way or the other toward the Spartans. they seem alright to me. but, back to ND, they shouldn't have sacked Ty. say what you will, ND's as worthless for how they did Ty as Nebraska is for how they did Solich.

no, you can't. that's among many points that Greeny and Golic were making this morning on the Mike & Mike show. at this point I don't think there's anyone out there, save for the ND establishment, that thinks the firing of Ty was just. it's funny because I was telling my Dad over the weekend, as we watched SC smack the shit out of ND, that even though I hated ND I had a lot of respect for Ty. c'est la vie, I guess.
Last night's show freakin' rocked, not only was Leo amazing as always (Split Enz!?!? SPLIT ENZ!!!) but Washington Social Club sounded better than I've ever heard them. I wasn't sure to be annoyed or amused that Leo managed to ignore the guys yelling out "Sin Eater!!!!" throughout the entire show ... I guess I'll just have to hope that he plays it tonight, since it's one of my favorites.
