Why didn't anyone tell me when I made the switch from Typepad to Movable Type that I would spend the majority of my day deleting spam comments. Jeezy Creezy, this shit is getting ridiculous.
Super Furry Animals frontman and information leafblower homie *cough*namedropper*cough* Gruff Rhys will be releasing his first ever solo record on January 21 across the pond and on March 8 here in the States via Rough Trade Records. Entitled Yr Atal Genhedlaeth (The Stuttering Generation), Gruff plays all the instruments on the record save for banjo and trumpet and sings the entire album in Welsh. So effing best. I hate the spam, too.
On the smorgasblog sites, we've finally been able to control the spam pretty well with a combinaton of the graphical code entering on the bottom of each comment past and MT-Blacklist. We almost never get hit with spam comments any more.
