Or Maybe Not
I'm not too happy about UNC winning the title last night, but on the bright side, Illinois was denied their 38th win, so they are tied with the 1986 Duke team and a few others with the most victories ever in a season. So it's not all bad.
Sean May was nigh unstoppable and Felton only had 2 turnovers, although he dribbled off his foot at least three times. Shouldn't a point guard be able to dribble the ball? Since Bruce Weber took over, Illinois has only lost two games when they've scored over 70 points. Both of them have been to UNC.
But I was right on one thing. Not much love for Matt Doherty.
Ack! I just dropped him from my fantasy team. grumblegrumble
The Credit Card prank. [via Sushi High] Did I already post this?
Pitchfork reviews the Ffa Coffi Pawb record and gets it mostly right. That record was in my Top 10 from 2004. See, I'm cooler than you and bought the import. Actually L Boogie bought it for me when she was in the UK, so she is the one that's cooler than you.
Pitchfork reviews the live Phoenix record (which I don't yet own) and gets it mostly wrong. Am I wrong or did this record come out last year or at least months ago?
C's @ Wizards tonight. I'll be in the house.

How binoculars was the Hour Of Bauer last night? Wowee Zowee.

My favorite scenes is when Bauer turns his humanity off and walks into a room and kills a handfull of people before he draws his next breath. So fucking best.
Whenever they flash the graphic violence warning, I always turn to my wife and say, "Fuck yeah! High five!" Last night she was all: "This isn't a special warning for this episode, you know, it's on before every 24." And I said, "Just like every fucking Christmas is baby Jesus' birthday! Time to get my presents!"
espn mentioned that this was essentially doherty's team...which i knew they would.

it was brought up last night on the post-show, clark kellogg i think.
i thought j.j. was getting the naismith...ah well, there's always next year. (and no, that doesn't mean i like him).
the village voice has a better review of the phoenix cd here.
Pitchfork got that Phoenix album ALL wrong. I posted on it a bit ago.
poor Matt. Roy getting all the credit for winning with Matt's team. oh well....when he fails with his own recruits, we'll see who gets the last laugh. I mostly, however, feel bad for my friend, the Kansas fan, who has permanently disowned Roy Williams. I know she's in a lot of pain today.
You had Glen Robinson on your fantasy team all year?
