Good Feeling
I'm sure most of you had a wild and crazy weekend, but not me. I took it easy. I stayed in on Friday, cooked some food and did some writing. Saturday I went out to dinner with L Boogie, Johnny English and some other friends in Crystal City. JE was running the marathon on Sunday, so we went out to cheer him on. We missed him (somehow) at the 12 mile mark but caught up with him around the corner at mile 14. JE actually bested his time from last year by like 20 minutes. Nice one sir. I had a great time at the race, so I wil refrain from commenting on Metro's inability to run trains at sensible intervals to ferry race watchers around the course. Jeezy Creezy. I took lots of pictures and they're up on Flickr.
My new camera is out for delivery today!
The setlist from Depeche Mode's Bowery Ballroom show.
Peep this, you can buy live Mylo DJ sets from the UK company Live Here Now. So much awesome.
I might have to pick this up.
Jarvis cockers adds "poet" to his impressive resume.
Franz Fedinand to cover Air's "Sexy Boy" on their next single.
Football legend George Best is seriously ill and fighting for his life.
Also, I am FINALLY getting around to uploading all of the old archive photos from my typepad site to my current site, so I can delete my old site and save $8 a month. It's a bit repetitive, but it's something I've been putting off for over a year. Unfortunately each time I republish an entry, it resends out all the original trackback pings again, which is seriously annoying. So if you got some weird trackbacks on old posts on your blog, that's why. I'm sorry, but I have no idea why it's doing that or how to fix it. If you know how to turn this off (or fix it entirely), drop me a line or leave a comment and my seriously underpaid IT staff will get on it. Thx.
Finally, this morning someone from the fine town of Montreal logged on to the leafblower searching for pictures of Melania Knauss and became my 300,000th visitor. Not too shabby if I do say so myself. Thanks to everyone that comes by and reads on a regualr basis (you know who you are). Not being one to rest on my laurels, I have some really fun and interesting things planned for November, starting with my annual NBA preview tomorrow. So stay tuned!

i'm not sure i know who i am, but i might.
aw, thanks! being a regular sounds so "barfly"...heh heh hee hee. bring on the basketball! so sick of baseball, sorry, i am.
