Info on the new Outkast record. Big Boi says it will be out by the end of the year. Arista (or whatever label they're on nowadays) says "ThankyouThankyouThankyouThankyou" and offers to pay for a new Boom Boom Room.
What??? Oasis in We're not as lazy as you effing stoodents think we are shocker! Get this, Noel is considering putting out a standalone single (their first since "Whatever") after the band finish promoting Don't Believe The Truth. The kicker? The song, "The Boy With The Blues", was written by our kid Liam. It MIGHT be out next year but Noel isn't sure yet. All of which makes me anxoius. At times unbearably so.
New Futureheads EP! Sweet. The three track EP (isn't that more like a single?) will include "Area" a song they've played at both shows I've seen them play in DC along with two other new songs, one each sung by Ross and Jaff. And the band is working with Ben Hillier on a new record and it's scheduled to be done by February.
There's a new James Bond.

Outkast on the 6th of December, Ghostface on the 13th... shaping up to be a nice lil' sprint to the end of the year (and note to bloggers and critics: Don't get Purple Haze'd and rush to pump out those "Best of 2005" lists, because those two are almost certain to be on it-- at least almost certainly on mine, anyway).

Oasis 'boy with the Blues' - any release date yet?
I know the tune and is a acoustic guitar - piano based song. It's not mind blowing but it's very cool. I don't know if it's good as a single but wha I'm sure is that the mixes are not ready at all and there is not going to be any single release of this song, neither as an EP. So folks, we'll just have to wait until, god only knows, Cos Noel said they'll take all 2006 for a Break.
