Heard those Raconteurs tracks via crappy laptop speakers yesterday and was mighty impressed. Heard cranked through some proper headphones, boy will record ever rock. I always suspected Jack White would be great apart of a full band and with the talents of Brendan Benson helping out... WOW!
Big thumbs up for Matt Pond PA - fell in love after seeing them open for Liz Phair at 9:30.
Ditto thumbs for Editors' Munich. I love that EP/single/whatevs - 3 songs on iTunes - but not their earlier stuff so much. Sounds like they heard Interpol Antics in between, and used it wisely.
while i love the smiths/mozzer, that album cover blows about as bad as You Are The Quarry did. I guess I need to hear the music before passing judgement
