I think I made my summer festival choice. Now all they need is Mylo and Maximo Park. And The Bunnymen. And Morrissey. And the Super Furries. And Nethers. Then we'd be set.
The price is reasonable, there are a few good bands, but support Pitchforkfest? Nothing but pontificating pretentious snobs there talking about how some band I've never heard of is better than the next Arcade Fire, which happens to be playing at stage east. Save your $ & stay home & watch some tv instead.
I'm perfectly happy with my 45 dollar Lollapalooza tickets, myself.
