I Know Something Else Worth "Nothing"
Thanks to Matt 5500 for spotting the latest in a growing number of Pitchfork typos in today's Pet Shop Boys album review. He's guessing they meant "worth noting" and I have to agree. Am I gonna have to make a separate category for Pitchfork typos? If anyone else spots one, send it along.
Maybe if another blog wasn't so busy trying to become the new Entertainment Weekly while showing us all what great tastemakers they are, they could get around to doing the things they laid out in their ballyhooed "manifesto" and calling P4k out on this stuff. But it's not like anyone's sticking around to read them...
isn't trying to discredit a site based on what their page views akin to discrediting a band that doesn't sell as much as britney spears as not worth a listen?

I'm not trying to discredit their site because of their page views. I'm saying why send out an email saying your here to take on the MP3 blog-world and point out all the (many) conflicts of interest and proceed to do anything and everything but that? Idolator would do better to concentrate less on being a tastemaker and more on emulating Gawker and Deadspin.
And gildar, I never said I get loads of traffic. What does that have to do with anything? People read my site or they don't, I'm not out their trolling for traffic.
